TERMS AND CONDITIONS

All clients must read and accept the following terms and conditions before the commencement of their services:

 

Dog Walks

 

  1. Prior to walking a dog, all Clients must have a meeting with Treasured Tails Frome, either on the phone or in person. Following current Government guidance regarding coronavirus, this meeting should take place outside, with appropriate social distancing measures in place.

  2. If a dog is deemed unsuitable for walking due to any aggressive or potentially aggressive behaviour, then Treasured Tails Frome has the right to refuse to continue further with the enquiry or any future walks.

  3. A booking form must be completed if the Client wishes to engage with Treasured Tails Frome and Treasured Tails Frome agrees to undertake the services. All terms and conditions will be set out on this form and must be agreed and signed in order to continue.

  4. The Client is fully responsible and must cover all medical bills for any harm or damage to the walker or any other animals, which are caused by their dog, whilst with Treasured Tails Frome.

  5. Full payment of services is to be made within 7 days of invoice/ receipt by cash or bank transfer. If the Client fails to make this payment within 7 days, then Treasured Tails has the right to charge the Client interest on a daily basis at an annual rate of 8% on the sum date.

  6. If a Client needs to cancel a walk then 24 hours notice needs to be given or the Client will be charged.

  7. The name and contact of an individual who can make an informed decision about their dog in an emergency must be given to Treasured Tails Frome, before walks are carried out. If this contact cannot be reached then Treasured Tails Frome has the right to call a vet.

  8. The Client must agree to reimburse Treasured Tails Frome for any additional fees and expenses for any emergency care required whilst under the care of Treasured Tails Frome.

  9. All dogs taken out for walks must be flead, wormed and up to date with their vaccinations. Evidence of this will be required before the commencement of services.

  10. All dogs will be kept on their leads unless a consent form regarding ‘off lead walking’ is signed.

  11. All dogs must be socialised. If Treasured Tails Frome feels that a dog is not behaviourally suitable to take out on walks or does not fit with other dogs on the group walks, then Treasured Tails Frome has the right not to proceed and/or to terminate the agreement immediately.

 

 

Pop-in visits

 

  1. Any cancellations for this service require 24 hours’ notice. If this does not occur the Client must pay the full fee as agreed.

  2. The Client shall ensure that Treasured Tails Frome has access to the Client’s home at the times to be agreed between Treasured Tails Frome and the Client.

  3. Treasured Tails Frome will make all steps possible to ensure that the Client’s home is safe and secure in their absence, but cannot be held responsible or liable for any accidents caused by your pet(s) or for any burglaries, or for any loss or damage caused by any third parties.

  4. The Client must provide all items that are needed for the pet to be cared for in the Client’s absence during the pop-in visit
